Which flag would you have chosen?

BASIC Māori WORDS:

New Zealand has three official languages: English, Māori and New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL).

Print out my Māori Words Printable and try to say some everyday phrases in Māori. I apologise for any errors.  besides my father-in-law, I used these pages as references: Numbers , words and language

FUN FACTS ABOUT NEW ZEALAND:

As your family reads about New Zealand write out some interesting facts you learn about this country on this Printable Worksheet: Facts About New Zealand.

NEW ZEALAND BASIC GEOGRAPHY:

Print out a copy of my Basic Geography of New Zealand Worksheet  and have your child colour it.  Then together as a family search an atlas or online for the capital city of New Zealand.  Have your child write the answer on the worksheet. We also wrote the names of the major bodies of water surrounding New Zealand.  Please excuse any anomalies in the shape of the country as the worksheet was hand drawn and certainly not perfect.

NEW ZEALAND FLAG:

In March 2016, New Zealand voted on whether or not they should change their flag.

Print out a copy of my two New Zealand Flag Printables and have your child colour it red and blue in the appropriate area: Old New Zealand Flag or Possible New NZ Flag

Check here for more information: The New Zealand Flag

For information on other flags of New Zealand Check here: Other NZ Flags

There is a Māori flag, too: The National Māori Flag
