USA CUPCAKES FANCY ICING:
It's not as hard to make "fancier" cupcakes as you might think.
Make some buttercream icing and divide it into three bowls. Tine one bowl red, the other blue and leave the last plain. Using a piping bag squeeze the icing from outer edge inward in circles to create a nice swirl. Then pipe little white stars by just squeezing single dollops of icing with the star tip.
Step 5: Enjoy!

Bake your favourite cupcakes and decorate with white icing and red and blue candies or decorate with red, white and blue icing and arrange as a flag. Yum!

LUNCH:
CHEESE STARS:
Ingredients: Slices of bread, butter or margarine , shredded cheese (mozzarella, parmesan or cheddar), star cookie cutter.
Step 1: Cut out the bread slices into star shapes using a star cookie cutter and set on a baking sheet.
Step 2: Spread butter or margarine on the bread.
Step 3: Sprinkle cheese onto the bread.
Step 4: Put the baking sheet into the oven and broil for 1 or 2 minutes or until the cheese melts.
Step 5: Enjoy!
DESSERT:
DINNER:
Many American families have barbecue for Independence day. Have your own barbecue and serve up your family’s favorites like hot dogs or hamburgers.
BREAKFAST:
FRUIT FLAG TOAST:
Ingredients: Banana sliced, raspberries, blueberries, cream cheese or nut bread, and bread.
Toast your bread, spread some cream cheese or nut butter on the toast. Arrange the blueberries star side up in the left corner, arrange the raspberries and banana slices as the stripes.
SNACK:
USA FRUIT PLATTER or STAR SPANGLED FRUIT:
Ingredients: Banana sliced, strawberries, sliced, blueberries or blueberries and watermelon.
Step 1: For the flag arrange the strawberries and bananas along a platter as the red and white stripes of the American Flag and arrange the blueberries (star side up) in the upper left corner of the fruit platter.
Step 2: For the Star Spangled Fruit use small star cutters (for cookies or fondant) to cut slices of watermelon into stars and scatter for blueberries.
NOTE: Don't forget to save the fruit scraps in your freezer to use in a delicious smoothie!
